Indagra is Romania’s leading agricultural exhibition, covering farm,
horticultural machinery, livestock and livestock equipment. We had a
presence at the event last year and received very strong interest in
UK products. They have a great need to upgrade their industry and
as one of the newest members of the EU there are funds available
and with the World Bank declaring their aim to improve agricultural
productivity in Romania this creates huge opportunities. They have a
population of 22 million of which 35% are employed in agriculture on
a land mass approximately the size of the UK .The land is highly
productive and very suitable for both arable and livestock.
