Introduction
The on-line movement reporting system eAML2
is available for use.
Please note that creating a movement
licence for pigs to slaughter does not mean that your pigs
are booked into the abattoir. You must contact the abattoir
direct to book in your pigs. This is particularly important
in the busy run up to Christmas

The BPA already collects much of the information required on
the movement licence when herdbook registered pigs are
transferred so existing on-line and paper services will be
developed to combine the pedigree information and the
movement licence into a single paper or electronic document.
In addition to registrations and transfers the movement
licensing of birth notified pigs to slaughter will also be
available via the BPA website. This new service will allow
BPA members to print off their Pedigree Pork certificates or
list their point of sale outlets, butchers farms shops etc
and have the Pedigree Pork certificates delivered by e-mail
direct to the retailer.
